Parents and guardians of Marietta High School students: Marietta Police Department and Marietta City Schools are asking you to speak with your child about safe and responsible behavior in our community. Last week began this year’s installment of an annual game between students in grades 9-12 called Water Assassins, where 80 of our students are engaging in a student-organized competition to be the last team standing. Unfortunately, this year we have seen an increase in reckless driving by students playing the game and an escalation of the game now impacting bystanders in unsafe situations. https://www.mariettacityschools.k12.oh.us/o/mhs/article/1065309
