Incert yourself academy
Marietta High School offers a mobile dentist twice a year. The dental team's first visit will be on September 11th and September 12th. This program offers a dental assessment from a dentist, a cleaning, x-rays, fluoride treatment, and sealants as needed. Additional care, such as fillings, may be provided. It is very important for students to take care of their teeth and keep their smiles healthy. To register, complete the online form ASAP at www.MySchoolDentist.com. Or you may call, 888-833-8441. EVENT: Manufacturing in Action LOCATION: Washington County Career Center DATE & TIME: October 4, 9am - 2pm DETAILS: This event is a celebration of National Manufacturing Day and offers a unique opportunity for students to explore the world of manufacturing and industry This year, we anticipate welcoming 400 high school juniors and seniors from Ohio and West Virginia who have shown an interest in manufacturing and related fields. The event will feature an outdoor showcase where local manufacturers and industry professionals will demonstrate their work, including machinery and equipment that bring their businesses to life. BB2C is partnering with Perry & Associates to offer Discover Accounting Day to students interested in learning more about the field of accounting. The event will be held on Friday, September 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and is open to 10-12th grade students. Pizza will be provided for lunch. For our first varsity home football game of this season we'd like to invite all current military personnel, veterans and first responders to hopefully enjoy a Tiger victory on the house! It was a wonderful first week and we would like to thank our bus drivers for working so hard to get our students to and from school safe and on time. Please be patient as they continue to improve their route times as the year goes on. The Marietta Soccer League's Fall Registration is open! Children ages 4-15 are to signup at to https://marietta.demosphere-secure.com/_registration to register. Fall registration is $55 including the uniform. Registration closes August 28th. Practices start the week of September 9th, and games will start September 15th and are on every Sunday until October 27th. We are closing in on a new school year and we are so excited to see you all! On August 19, from 5:30-7 p.m. our 7th grade orientation will be happening and we will have 8th and 9th grade orientation the same night from 6:30-8 p.m. In addition to dropping off supplies and learning the layout of the building, we will have sports teams and clubs on hand for students to learn about the opportunities available to them. In addition, the Health Department will also be providing the Tdap and Meningitis vaccinations to all students. Please bring your insurance card. We hope to see you there and look forward to another wonderful school year!

Bus Route Information
Important information for our 7th grade families, we will be doing a staggered start this year for our 7th grade students only. The day that students will start will be divided based on their last name. On Wednesday August 21, our students with last names from A-Lent will have their first day. Then on August 22, the second half of students (Lightfriz-W) will attend. On Friday August 23 we will return to normal with all 7th grade students being in school. We can't wait to see you all next week!
