School Year–This Year and Upcoming School Year
We had a great end to the school year and I just want to thank our PTO for helping organize our Field Day events! Great job to our sixth graders and good luck to all of them as they move on to high school this upcoming school year. We hope that everyone enjoys their summer and we are excited for the upcoming school year. Again, thank you for making this year so successful and being so flexible and patient during our consolidation and transitions.
As we go into the summer months, please follow our Facebook page at Marietta Elementary School for updates. Also, please sign up for the parent/guardians emails at MES to get updates as well. You can go to the Marietta City School website to sign up for parent emails.
We have worked to schedule our 2022-2023 orientation dates for the upcoming school year. Please go ahead and mark your calendars! The dates are listed below:
Class List Posted: Friday, August 19th–Class lists will be posted on the gym doors. We will send out information once they are posted.
Incoming 3rd Grade Orientation: Monday, August 22nd, 2022 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. *Another letter will be sent home this summer to these families explaining in more detail.
Incoming 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Open House: Tuesday, August 23rd from 5:30-7:00 p.m. This will be more of an open house schedule where students can come in and meet their teachers and bring in their supplies.
Incoming 7th Grade Orientation: Monday, August 22nd from 5:30–7:00 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium
