2023-2024 School Year Orientation Dates
I just want to thank everyone again for another successful school year!! I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer! Below are some dates for the upcoming school year. Along with this letter, you will have received the school supply lists for the upcoming school year.
Please follow our Facebook page at Marietta Elementary School for updates. Also, please sign up for the parent/guardian emails at MES to get updates as well. You can go to the Marietta City School website to sign up for parent emails.
We have worked to schedule our 2023-2024 orientation dates for the upcoming school year. Please go ahead and mark your calendars! The dates are listed below:
Class Lists Posted: Friday, August 18th–Class lists will be posted on the gym doors on Friday, August 18th in the afternoon.
Incoming 3rd Grade Orientation: Monday, August 21st from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Another letter will be sent home about 3rd grade orientation and staggered start for third grade.
Incoming 4th, 5th and 6th Grade Open House: Tuesday, August 22nd from 5:30-7:00 p.m. This is an open house format where you and your child can come anytime between 5:30-7:00 p.m. During this time, you can meet your child’s teacher and bring their school supplies.
First Day of School: Wednesday, August 23, 2023
