The Marietta High School Tiger Navy Women’s Varsity 4+ has been accepted to compete at the prestigious Henley Women’s Regatta in Henley-on-Thames, England in June of 2024.
Marietta, OH- The Women’s 4+, featuring Eden Ingram (stroke), Wilkey Smith (three seat), Katie Lovejoy (two seat), Madison Lovejoy (bow seat) and Mo Caslow (coxswain), had a historic 2023 Championship season which saw them finish 1st in Ohio, 1st in the Midwest, 3rd at the Stotesbury Cup and 3rd in the Nation. As a result of this success, these five women have been accepted to compete in England in June 2024 on the River Thames- the birthplace of competitive rowing.
The Henley Women’s Regatta will take place on June 21st, 22nd and 23rd of 2024 in Henley-on-Thames, England just outside of London. The women will race in a time trial for seeding followed by match races down the world-famous boomed course.
