Marietta City Schools is pleased to announce that thanks to a new partnership, Donatos Pizza of Marietta will be the “Official pizza of Marietta City Schools and Marietta Tiger Athletics.”
Brad Silvus, Superintendent of Marietta City Schools, believes that this will be a mutually beneficial relationship for both parties. “We are excited to be involved with Marietta High School graduate Scott Hollister and a very successful business in our community. Scott knows what MCSD stands for and is adamant about giving back to the school through cooperative fundraisers and with generous donations for some of our reward programs.”
Scott Hollister, Franchise Partner of Donatos Marietta, is also excited to partner with Marietta City Schools. “This is bigger than Pizza for my wife, Kaitlin and I. We are thrilled to build a long-term relationship with MCSD and the Athletic Program and feel it’s necessary to give back to the community, especially my alma mater. Donatos was founded on the Golden Rule and that’s how my parents raised me, it only feels right to do this for the students, teachers and staff. Our purpose is to serve others, nourish relationships and bring people together, which is what we hope for with our relationship here.”
Cody Venderlic, Marietta High School Athletic Director, is also excited about the partnership, “The Marietta Athletic Department has been working with Scott Hollister and Donatos over the last several years and we are truly grateful for their continued generosity and support! We hope this partnership will continue for many more years!”
Donatos is generously donating their delicious pizzas as a token of their appreciation to all four schools as a reward to our schools for some of their teacher/student of the month programs. Additionally, Donatos will offer exclusive discounts for various school events such as club meetings, class parties and support for the PTA. They will also continue to partner with the athletic boosters for concessions, and work with all teams for various events. Their aim is to foster a stronger sense of community and a brighter future for our students.
