504 District Contact Information

504 Eligibility:

To have a disability under Section 504, an individual must have an impairment that substantially limits a major life activity; an everyday activity an average person can perform with little or no difficulty.  Without medical diagnosis, a team decision can be made to determine whether a 504 should be put into place to assure student success.  A 504 team would include teachers, administration, guidance counselors, parents, guardians, and anyone who knows the student and his/her academic abilities.  Following proper documentation and interventions, a determination will be made by the team and the district 504 compliance officer.
