Substitutes Needed

Marietta City Schools is in the process of recruiting people to serve as substitute custodians, teachers, teacher aides, secretaries, and attendants.  The positions are paid positions.  We need good quality people that want to work and are reliable and dependable.  Substitutes play an important role in our day-to-day operations. 

Substitute teachers must have a four-year college degree, which does not have to be in education.  Substitute teacher pay is on a daily basis.  If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher, please contact Melissa Howard at 740-374-6500, ext. 8011.

Individuals wanting to serve as substitute secretaries, attendants, aides, or custodians must have a high school diploma. These positions are paid by the hour.  If you are interested in one of these positions, please contact Brenda Matthews at 740-374-6500, ext. 8020. 

Substitute bus drivers are needed, this position will require possible training opportunities. Please contact Darrell Prim or Charleton Brown at the bus garage at 740-374-6525.

The following position(s) are available for after school tutoring for 3rd grade students beginning the week of January 22, 2024 through the week of March 25, 2024.
