Phillips Elementary School

Dear Parents and Guardians,
It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Kristi Lantz, as the
principal of Phillips Elementary. My passion for education and supporting the successes
of students has been shaped throughout my career. I have a strong desire to keep
students engaged and focused, while at school. My goal is to ensure that all childen are
safe, happy and healthy, so that they may learn as much as they can, while having fun. I
love all of the students at Phillips and enjoy getting to know them, their personalities,
learning styles and interests. I do my best to celebrate their successes, both big and
small and encourage them daily to let them know they have a special place in our school
I feel that commuication is one of the major factors in educational success. With that
being said, please reach out to your child’s teacher through emails, phone calls, and/or
notes to receive answers to questions or ways to help your child be successful. We also
have both fall and winter conferences, with which you can schedule an individual time
slot with teachers. In addition, I encourage you to follow our Phillips Elementary School
Facebook page. Each Tuesday I read a bedtime story via Facebook Live at 8:00pm. We
also post updates, reminders and celebrations on our Facebook page.
As a parent, I recognize the importance of a home-school connection and the
importance of knowing that there are people out there who love and care for your child
as much as you do. I believe in the staff here at Phillips and know that by working
together, we can ensure your child’s social, emotional and academic needs are met.

Thank you for your continued support,
Kristi Lantz, Principal
