Welcome to our web site. At Phillips Elementary School, you will find a professional team of dedicated educators. The Phillips staff works collaboratively to provide appropriate learning experiences for all students. Our educational environment is designed to enhance high standards of student achievement, and we are committed to meeting the complete educational needs of our students.
Phillips Elementary School is a learning community for students in Kindergarten through Fifth grade. The building was built in 1953 and is the largest elementary school in the Marietta City School district.
We recognize that a strong home-school partnership is the means to success. Our PTO supports our school and the academic programs offered throughout each school year. We invite you to become involved and get to know our dedicated staff, our outstanding programs and our commitment to educational excellence. Together, we can make a positive difference for the children in our community.

What does SAFE, RESPECTFUL, & RESPONSIBLE mean at Phillips School?
SAFE: Behaving in a way that keeps yourself and others secure from danger, harm, and injury.
RESPECTFUL: Showing politeness and treating people/things in the correct manner.  This means showing value in other people's opinions, ideas and differences through actions and words.
RESPONSIBLE: Able to be trusted or depended upon and making wise choices.
All of this is done to insure that the atmosphere at Phillips School is conducive to student learning and personal growth.  We want kids to be successful both academically and socially.
