Substitutes Needed

Marietta City Schools is in the process of recruiting people to serve as sub custodians, teachers, teacher aides, secretaries, and attendants.  We need good quality people that want to work and are reliable and  dependable.  Substitutes play an important role in our day to day operation.

The positions are paid positions.  Substitute teachers must have a four year college degree which does not have to be in education.  Substitute teacher pay is on a daily basis.  If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher please contact Missy Dye at 374-6500, Ext. 11.

People wanting to serve as secretary, attendant, aide, or custodian must have a high school diploma. These positions are paid by the hour.  If you are interested in one of these positions please contact Linda Seevers at 374-6500, Ext. 20.

Early Intervention Tutor - Putnam Elementary
Certification: Elementary K-3, K-8, 1-8
            Must have current licensure in Special Education K-12/Reading Endorsment
            Willingness to be trained in Orton Gillingham methodologies
            Willingness to maintain flexible schedule
Job Description: Focus is students needing Tier II and III reading/phonics interventions. Primary focus will be grades K-3. The candidate will also need to progress monitor effectiveness of applied interventions.
This position will occur during regular school hours.
